Country Singing in Braces

Hi Damon Experience Blog readers! I’m Payton Taylor, a recording country music artist. Singing is my passion and music is the reason I smile brightly every day, which is why I’m excited to share my Damon® System experience with you!

As a country singer, I’m realizing more and more how important my smile is when performing. Seeing my idols, like Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, on stage has shown me that smiling is the best way to connect with fans. I haven’t always been confident when smiling though, but thanks to my orthodontist and Damon® Clear™ I’m on my way to an awesome smile that will last a lifetime.

When I first got Damon Clear, I was nervous that the wires and brackets would affect my singing—I sure was wrong! The braces actually had the opposite effect, as the straighter alignment of my teeth and broader smile actually makes my speech and singing clearer. The best thing about my braces though is they’re virtually invisible—my fans don’t even notice them! Treatment with the Damon System also gives me freedom when I’m on the road, as less office visits and check-ups are required.

I’m nearing the end of my treatment and while my Damon Clear journey may be coming to a close, my singing adventure continues. I’ll be in touch with another blog post to showcase before and after photos. Until then, you can catch me on the road performing at the CMA Music Festival June 7-10, Milwaukee Summer Fest on July 5 and Country on the Beach in Key West Oct. 4-7.

Braces are *so* worth it, for your looks and your overall health forever – good for you! I’ve worked with Damon people and they are totally helpful and interested in making your braces experience the best it can be. My three girls had braces; for days when you still have just a little bit of soreness, you might like the tips and recipe ideas they came up with at http://www.MetalMouthMedia.net. Best wishes!
